This air intake system is designed to smooth and straighten air flow, dramatically reducing air flow restriction. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake for more acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-7084TS air intake comes with a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space, helping to keep radiant heat from the engine away from air as it enters the intake. The smooth intake tube funnels air directly into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The attractive silver powder-coat finish on the tube is meant to last, keeping this intake looking good for years.
